Pool pit excavation in Nathon, Koh Samui
Dug a pool pit to the client's specified dimensions in Nathon, near Coconut Museum Samui. Two days including rain delays - excavation done to spec, spoil hauled off site.
Nathon, Koh Samui

The client needed a pool pit dug on their plot in Nathon, close to Coconut Museum Samui on the western side of the island. We discussed the dimensions and depth together before starting - the pit had to be right first time, so the brief was agreed and confirmed before the excavator moved.
Getting onto the site
Before any digging could happen, we had to sort access. Overhead wires ran across the approach to the plot and the clearance wasn't enough for the truck and excavator to pass underneath. Our crew removed the wires temporarily to open up the route, then moved the machinery in without issue.
Excavation
The Komatsu PC128 dug the pit to the agreed dimensions. Rain on the first day slowed the work - wet ground and safety on the slopes of an open pit both require more care. The job ran across two days as a result, but the excavation came out to spec.
The Hino 300 ran continuous trips hauling the spoil off site as it came out of the ground. A clean site at every stage is part of how we work.
Result
The pit was handed over at the correct dimensions and depth. During the job, a neighbour on the adjacent plot saw the work in progress and asked if we could handle their site as well. We finished the pool excavation, moved the excavator across and took on the neighbouring clearance project.
